Doctoral Training Partnerships Programme 3 (DTP3) Invitation to comment

Deadline: 5 September 2018, 23:59

The third phase BBSRC Doctoral Training Partnership (DTP) programme will open for applications in January 2019, to begin training students in October 2020.

Our vision for DTP3 is for an innovative, inclusive and outcomes-focussed programme of doctoral training to build and maintain the capacity of core bioscience disciplines, and deliver skills for impact across the UK economy.

The invitation to comment seeks general feedback from academic and industrial stakeholder organisations in the bioscience community in order to ensure that DTP3 continues to meet the needs of the bioscience sector and the students it intends to support. BBSRC seeks input from the community to identify:

  • what aspects of current DTP programmes should be retained
  • what should be revised
  • what (if anything) should be retired

The feedback you provide will help to refine the vision and strategic objectives of the programme and identify potential opportunities and barriers prior to the launch of DTP3. Responses from all interested individuals and organisations are welcome.
