Planned outage of Joint Electronic Submission (Je-S) system, 21-25 March 2019
Due to essential maintenance, the Joint Electronic Submissions (Je-S) system will be unavailable from 17:00 GMT on Thursday 21 March to 10:30 GMT Monday 25 March 2019.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and hope to keep disruption of service to a minimum.
Working closely with UK Research and Innovation, UK Shared Business Services (UK SBS) will be renewing and moving the IT infrastructure that supports the service, which is used by research organisations to submit applications to seven UK Research and Innovation councils.
To complete this work, the Je-S system will be unavailable for a four-day period, including the weekend. This is mainly an infrastructure change and there will be no effect on the functionality or look and feel of the Je-S system itself. There will be a change to the email address associated with Je-S which will become @je-s.ukri.org. After 25 March any email to the Je-S service should be sent to email@example.com but any email using the current email will be redirected.
UK SBS and UK Research and Innovation are managing their activities to ensure there is minimal disruption to system users and appreciate your patience as we carry out this critical systems maintenance.

For queries using Je-S, the helpdesk can be contacted Monday to Thursday 08:30-17:00 and Fridays 08:30-16:30 UK time (excluding bank holidays and other holidays) by email: firstname.lastname@example.org or tel: 01793 444164 (out of hours please leave a voicemail message).
