UKRI-BBSRC Collaborative Training Partnerships (CTP) – Invitation to Comment
BBSRC is inviting comment on the high-level objectives and key features for the second phase of Collaborative Training Partnership (CTP2) funding.
An online questionnaire seeks input to help shape our thinking. The questionnaire is open to all. The deadline for completing the survey is 13 September 2019.
CTP2 aims to build capacity and address strategic skills challenges in the UK bioeconomy at doctoral level. It aims to provide doctoral candidates with a range of research, innovation and transferable skills they need to be competitive for highly-skilled jobs in the labour markets of the bioeconomy, academia and beyond.
The investment in CTP2 will complement the UKRI-BBSRC Doctoral Training Partnerships (DTP) programme, to build the foundation of people and skills needed to realise the ambitions of the UKRI-BBSRC Forward Look for UK Bioscience, with the additionality of aiming to underpin the aspirations of the government’s Industrial and Bioeconomy strategies.
