BBSRC, part of UK Research and Innovation, is now looking for people to join our pool of experts to provide knowledge and insight.
BBSRC plays a crucial role in the health and vibrancy of UK bioscience and is now looking for people to join our Pool of Experts and Follow-on Fund Committee to ensure that we continue to invest in high-quality research, innovation and training in the biosciences.
Every year BBSRC invests more than £450 million on behalf of the UK public in research, innovation, training and capabilities, supporting around 1,600 scientists and 2,000 research students in universities and institutes across the UK.
Individuals help provide essential support through knowledge and insight to ensure that we invest in high-quality research, innovation and training in the biosciences.
Members of the pool of experts provide credible opinion of the merit of proposals for funding submitted to BBSRC and we are now looking for people that can provide expertise in areas such as; agricultural systems research, biological basis of human behaviour, drosophila as a model organism, epigenetics, evolutionary biology, farmed animal nutrition, industrial biotechnology, plant science, and proteomics.
