Remuneration Board

Reports to Council and normally meets once a year.

Responsible for evaluating the performance of PC1 and PC2 staff in BBSRC Swindon Office against objectives set by the Executive Chair and determining their remuneration.

Institute Governing Boards will be responsible for determining the pay and performance awards of their PC1 directors on BBSRC terms and conditions, process and outcomes will be shared with the Remuneration Board, appropriate feedback will be provided to the chairs of Governing Boards.

Is responsible for:

  • Evaluating the performance of BBSRC Swindon Office executive directors who hold personal contracts
  • Determining the performance award and non-consolidated performance award for Swindon Office executive directors
  • Providing appropriate feedback to chairs of Governing Boards to inform future arrangements after the Remuneration Board.
